  1. Love this stuff!! My mixture includes Flax Seed Gel, Yes to Carrots Pampering Conditioner and BioSilk Rock Hard Gelee. My waves are soft, frizz-free and still have enough hold for most of the day. I would recommend this to anyone!

  2. I'm also known as "IAGirl" and "Sciencey Hairblog," this is a "recipe" I created a while ago to see if mixing products I already used could make a curl cream with good hold for wavy hair instead of layering the same products. It is wonderful for making shiny, low-frizz, defined waves and curls. I like that you can customize how much strong hold gel or conditioner or whatever other ingredients you need for the weather and all other variables. The conditioner reduces the crunch, adds definition and reduces frizz. The FSG component makes wonderful clumpy, shiny curls and the strong hold gel is for just that - hold.
I use very little conditioner and only add the oil if I think I need it. Honey or agave nectar is not much good in humid weather - it can either make hair too soft or cause frizz because it absorbs water.
If you don't mind mixing this up (I usually mix up 1 day's worth at a time) - it's nice to have an all-in-one product to apply. I love this recipe.
