Yes, this is just a long piece of cotton, more "canvasy" feeling than t-shirt towels like Curls like Us. However surprisingly absorbant. Nice and long. I know you could plop somehow with this, but it would take some experimenting. Nice hang up loop or you could I'm certain figure out how to use that for tucking in excess in plopping. For me, not as handy or useful for scrunching as most other towels but the bonus is definitely it's length. (I would definitely toss in with some woollite before first use.)
