My hair is 2a-c, porous/ colour treated, medium texture and I have sensitive eczematous skin. I will be reviewing the old liquid spray version not the new milk formula, but will purchase and review the new product at a later date.
I purchase at Britishcurlies Curly Emporium, they are available in the US direct from Komaza Care or there is also a stockist in Canada and Germany. Most products in the line are Curly Girl friendly and largely natural ingredients with cosmetic science clearly considered in the formulations.
This is a hardcore 'setting' hydrolysed protein treatment or reconstructor which leaves hair straw like unless followed by a deep treatment. I would therefore only recommend this for those who are confident their hair likes protein or who have damaged porous hair. It contains wheat protein so not suitable for coeliacs.
The hair strengthener offers reasonable value for money: the product seems to contain quite a high percentage of proteins (makes hands very sticky, sets hard on the hair). A little goes a long way, most of us would not want to use it more than once a month so a bottle can last a year.
