In the dead of winter, I have a less-expensive silk pillowcase to use instead of the more easily-washable satin one I use the rest of the year. When the air is very dry, the satin makes my hair static-y, even with a humidifier in the bedroom. Silk does not cause the same static and so I can sleep without my hair tickling my face and waking me up.
2c with 2a &b mixed in, normal fine, normal thin, porous
ReplyDeleteIf you can't seem to achieve 2nd day hair, consider trying one these. It does help keep hair from frizzing and tangling overnight.
