  1. I have 2c, fine, medium porosity, low elasticity hair.
KCKT is a very light conditioner with good slip. It is typically used as a leave-in, although I have heard of some people rinsing it out after using it to detangle. It is great for detangling, and I would say just ok for moisturizing. I want to like this product because of the natural ingredients, but truthfully I think that many lighter conditioners can do an equivalent job for less cost. (Specifically, I can use Tresemme Naturals moisturizing conditioner and this interchangeably as detanglers/leave-ins. Supposedly Kinky Curly Curling Custard works better with KCKT as a leave-in underneath, but I have found zero difference between KCKT and TN conditioner under KCCC.) Sometimes if I use slightly too much KCKT, my hair feels kind of gunky. But still, it has good slip and the scent is nice.

  2. Fia - fine/medium, ii/iii, normal porosity and elasticy, 2a waves.

This is veyr light and doesnt feel particularly moisturizing. I feel like it has too much slip for a LI because I always seem to not get any clumps when I use it. I use this to SOTC once and my hair turned into a gunky, product-y mess, so definitely dont try that. Overall I think that its decent if you arent going to be doing anything to your hari that day for some moisture, but I think there are much better LIs out there for my particular hair.

  3. My hair: 2b, fine texture, lots of it, normal porosity, normal elasticity

I originally tried KCKT as a leave in by just raking it through hair after my rinse out, which I liked since it didn't weight my hair down, but I didn't find anything special about it. However, when I recently tried raking it through and then rinsing my hair just a little with water, I love it. It makes my hair feel very soft, but not weighed down.

  4. 2B, fine, medium density, med-high porosity, normal elasticity

Not very moisturizing.. I'd rank it around 5-6, but this product has amazing slip & shine. I don't know that I would re-purchase, simply because my FSG does a fine job of giving me slip and shine.

  5. Hair: 2C•fine•normal/high porosity•low density

This is light and not particularly moisturizing, which makes it the perfect LI for summer. A peas sized dollop is enough to detangle my hair and add enough moisture to combat the drying effects of the mag sulfate based curl enhancer I put in after the KCKT. It never weighs down my hair or makes it look greasy or dirty. It's only drawback is that it's too light for winter use.

  6. This is more of a detangling product than a moisturizing one - LOTS of slip. As one who gets over-conditioned very easily, I loved this when I had longer hair. Now that I have scaled back to shoulder length, I find that I do not need this product as much. At this price, there are cheaper options that serve the same purpose. I might consider adding it back into my routine as my hair re-grows.
