My hair: 3a, fine, dense, normal porosity and elasticity. I loved Curl Assurance. The smell was pleasant, and it's extremely gentle. The only issue I had was that the consistency made it difficult to adequately distribute through my thick hair without using gobs of product. I won't rule out user error for this, as I tend to be in a rush. Can't emphasize enough how gentle this product is. I easily use daily with no issues.
