My hair tends to love more "natural" (read: plant based, stuff found in nature, ex. aloe vera) products as opposed to products where you can't pronounce most of the ingredients, and this was no exception. It definitely enhanced my waves and gave me some clumps. The one downside is the scent is a bit strong (it's nice and pleasant, but definitely strong), so if you have headaches that are set off easily by scents, just know that this product may not be for you.
