DevaCurl No-Poo

  1. My hair: 2b, fine texture, medium-high density, normal elasticity, normal porosity

I was somewhat hesitant at first when I got this product because even though I like my cleanser (shampoo/cowash/etc) to be somewhat moisturizing, my fine hair LOVES protein, so I wasn't sure how it would react to this. Thankfully, I was happily surprised. It definitely made my hair feel clean, but didn't feel like it was stripping it of moisture (like I've found from a lot of drugstore cleansers). More importantly, it also didn't make my hair feel weighed down by too much moisture. I also don't need to use a lot of product per wash, so it's a good value. Even though I only bought a sample size of this product, I'll be buying a full sized bottle.

  2. 3a/f/iii, normal porosity and elasticity

This was my only cleanser for two straight years, not because I loved it, but because I didn't know what else to use. Since officially going CG in November I've revisited this product a few times- the first couple of times I was unimpressed, but when I used it for a week or two straight (stash killing), I was again pleased with it. Cleansed without stripping and left no gunkiness at my roots. The only reason that I would not re-purchase this is if I decide I like the Deva Care No-Poo better.

    1. Do let us know what you think of the Deva Care No Poo. I'm ginna pick one up and the Deva Care smells better than the Deva Curl.

  3. My hair: 2b/c; texture: Fine; Density: Medium; Porosity: normal/low; Elasticity: Normal.

This was the first cowash that I used as a CG and I am pleased with it even today. It cleanses nicely and didn't leave me feeling dry or stripped. It also didn't leave me feeling "gunky' or weighed down. I don't use this as my everyday cowash, as I have found other less expensive cowashes that I like just as well. But all in all, this is a very good cowash.
